The End of the Blind - Quran Chapter 6 – 104 & 105 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-861) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 6 – 104 & 105 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-861) - درس قرآن

The End of the Blind

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

Although the eye of the mankind has not been given so much powerful that it may see Allah Almighty and the actual reality openly, but so much sense is bestowed to every individual that he can understand the Invisible affairs by observing the Portents sent down by God Almighty. He has spread these Signs in the entire universe. By looking these portents, the human being should know properly these four things, upon which, his deliverance and goodness depends, and those matters have been described in the previous lesson. That is to say; correct conception regarding Allah Almighty, the Noble Qur’an and the Life, and then, that; to be prepared wholeheartedly for obeying the commands of Allah Almighty. These four things can be known well by the mankind by observing the tokens sent down by Allah Almighty.

The biggest Revelations out of these portents are the verses of Holy Qur’an, by thinking deeply into which, the humankind will be able to know these all things. He will understand the purpose and meaning of the life perfectly, because Holy Qur’an will guide him that every animate being have to die and at the time of death, he will carry away many wishes and intentions with himself, which could not be completed during the life of this world.

It is the portent of this matter that there should be another life for him (human being), in which, his entire desires and intentions can be fulfilled, that is; the Life in the Hereafter. The human being should get ready in this world for that Life and ask from the Holy Qur’an: Of which sort, those wishes and intentions should be completed at their own, so that those may be fulfilled in the Doomsday, and how should one live in this world for fulfilling the wishes and intentions on the Day of Resurrection.

Then it will be known that the mankind is created by Allah Almighty and for him, the life of this world, as well as the life of the Hereafter has been established. One should know Allah well and properly, so that the Value and Dignity of His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) and His Scripture, Holy Qur’aan is instilled in the heart and acting upon His commands may become easy. And it may also be understood that first of all works, is offering and establishing the prayer with punctuality after knowing everything.

These Revelations and Portents are very clear and evident. That person will be lucky who will reflect into them, and he will reap the advantage. But that person, who will close his eyes from them: Tell them O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him)! I can make you to understand the Qur’an and guide you, how to act upon Its Commands. Moreover, it is not my duty to teach you forcibly and carry you on the straight path, because I have not been appointed as a keeper over you that I should use you as laborers.

Then it has been commanded to the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him): Behold!  How do we expound Our Revelations in different ways again and again? Our Merciful Grace demands that We put Our Revelations exchanging before the human beings, and cause the Truth to bear in his mind with rhetoric. We know it that all of them will not be ready to understand these Revelations, but they will try to vanish their effect by saying: You have studied these Revelations from someone/ anywhere, and repeat before us after learning from them by heart.

But nothing shall occur from it because the wise people and those, who have knowledge, will understand them truly, reap advantage from Our way of Speaking, and that aim, which is required from it, will be fulfilled in good manner i.e. Our Revelations will be manifested well upon the wise people, whereas, the stupid people will inherit nothing.

Who is prosperous? - Quran Chapter 6 – 104 & 105 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-860) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 6 – 104 & 105 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-860) - درس قرآن

Who is prosperous?

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

104.  Proofs have come unto you from your Lord, so whoso seeth, it is for his own good, and whoso is blind is blind to his own heart. And I am not a keeper over you.

105.  Thus do we expound Our Revelations that they may say (unto Thee, Muhammad): “Thou hast studied,” and that We may make (it) clear for people who have knowledge.
104.  Qad  jaaa-‘akum  basaaa-‘iru  mir-Rabbikum.  Faman  ‘absara-  fali-nafsih.  Wa  man  ‘amiya  fa-‘alay-haa.  Wa  maaa  ‘aNaa  ‘alaykum  bi-hafiiz.

105.  Wa  kazaalika  Nusarri-ful-  ‘Aayaati  wa  li-yaquuluu  darasta  wa  liNu-bayyina-hum  li-qaw-miny-ya’-lamuun.

Commentary

Basaaa-‘iru – (Proofs), this word is plural of Basiirah, which has been derived fromBasar. Basar means “to see, vision”. But “to see” is of two types:

·         To see with apparent bodily eyes. The word “Basaarat” is in use for it, which means “the Sight”.

·         To see with the eyes of heart, which is “Wisdom”, the word used for it is “Basiirat”.

Both words “Basaarat and Basiirat” have come out from the word Basar. Hear,Basiirat aims “the thing, which is helpful to understand” i.e. proof, portent etc.

Hafiiz – (keeper, watchman), it is an adjective and made from hafaza, which means “looking after, custody, watch”. Hear the word Hafiiz aims “A person, who looks after the work of people and takes work from them forcibly. Hifaazat has also come out from it which is more in use.

Nusarrifu – it is from tasriif, origin of which is sarafa. Saraf means “To exchange, to alter”. The aim from tasriif is to display anyone thing in different forms.

Darasta – (you studied), it is past tense and has been derived from Dars, which means “To read and write, the lesson”. Word Madrasah has also come out from it which means “place of study – school, college etc.”

The Holy Qur’an has been sent down by Allah Almighty in the world, which has been revealed on His last Messenger Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him). The Reality of Noble Qur-‘aan has been mentioned clearly in the previous verses. There cannot be any other best method than This Scripture for obtaining the comfort of the next life, for those people, who are convinced of living again after death, and also the life of this world cannot be arranged as it was required to be dressed with Holy Qur’an.

After that, the Attributes of Allah almighty have been expressed so that the human being may recognize Him properly and establish offering prayer with punctuality and regularly in His Obedience. Summary of the teachings, which exist in those characteristics, is:

1.    To set up correct concept of life i.e. the life does not come to an end with the death, but another life begins after death.

2.    To act upon the commands mentioned in Holy Qur’aan by knowing their truth.

3.    To establish the right conception regarding the Epithets and characteristics of Allah Almighty, Who sent down “A Complete Code of Life, like Qur’an by means of His last Messenger Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him).

4.    To offer prayers regularly.

These are the Principles, which the Noble Qur’an desires to be accepted by the mankind, and which have been explained again and again. About these principles, it has been commanded in this verse: O People! The Proofs have been sent down unto you from your Lord to admonish you, (please see next lesson for further detail).

Way of knowing Allah - Quran Chapter 6 – 102 & 103 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-859) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 6 – 102 & 103 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-859) - درس قرآن

Way of knowing Allah

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

Natural desire of the human being is that he should know Allah Almighty. However, it is some other matter, if he becomes indolent due to being involved in the worldly works and business, otherwise, wherever he got some time for thinking, these thoughts besieged him there: Who is my Creator? What is this sky? Who did originate the sun, moon, stars, earth, mountains, rivers, seas etc.? Who does provide me food, water, clothes and usable things?

The Devil desires to keep the human being away from such thoughts. His only attempt is to keep the mankind entangled in the worldly works, relishes and lusts in such a manner that the human being may not think on these questions. So at first, he wants to stop the mankind thinking by answering these questions ordinarily and misguides: These things have been coming eternally as they are and will go forth always in the same way. You should try only to reap advantage from these things. He says to the human being: O mankind! Behold! What sorts of and how much relishes and pleasures are for you in the world? Give up false thinking and try to enjoy the world.

But there are some such people, who think deeply about above mentioned questions. For them Satan thinks that they should be involved in any such difficulty, from which they may not come out, because the aim is that they may not know Allah (God) Almighty. The Devil tries his best to keep the human being away from Allah and that Path, which leads straight forward to Him.

For protecting the mankind from these tricks of Satan, Allah Almighty sent down the Holy Qur’an, the actual object of which is that the humankind should recognize Allah Almighty. So He guides him to think deeply upon the above mentioned questions, while the Devil prevents him from reflecting into these matters and wishes to keep the mankind entrapped in worldly life and its relishes, or he teaches that philosophy and science can be useful in all matters also without Allah.

If we meditate in the previous verses, we may understand clearly that life of this world is of no value. After this, the life of the Hereafter is the actual life. The person, who will recognize it, will certainly believe in Holy Qur’an. And then, the Noble Qur’an will describe them that nothing has been kept in the world. The real thing is worship of Allah Almighty and the prayer is a form of worship. The prayer will prevent him from being ensnared every time in the world and will open the Way of Knowing Allah. That person, who will offer the prayer, will understand that it will become difficult to be saved, if he considered the worldly work everything, and after that there will be nothing for him but severity and torment.

There is no doubt that every animate being have to die. While the death is beyond question, then why should not be died in such a manner that the soul come out from the body easily and get immediately ease and comfort forever. Those people, who will reflect in the verses of previous two sections, they will find the simple answers of above questions very soon, summary of which is: Allah Almighty created the mankind and the entire things of the world too for his rest and ease. But the human being has not been born for the only purpose that he would have been entangled in the world. Moreover, he has been created for the reason that he should know Allah and worship Him. He should know it as own betterment of the both worlds, otherwise he is in danger. The end will be the worst.

Allah is Greater than thoughts - Quran Chapter 6 – 102 & 103 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-858) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 6 – 102 & 103 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-858) - درس قرآن

Allah is Greater than thoughts

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

102.  Such is Allah, your Lord. There is no God save Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He taketh care of all things.

103.  Vision comprehendeth Him not, but He comprehendeth (all) vision. And He is the Subtile, the Aware.
102.  ZaalikumUllaahu  Rabbu-kum.  Laaa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illaa  Huu.  Khaaliqu  kulli  shay-‘in  fa’-buduuH.  Wa  Huwa  ‘alaa  kulli  shay-‘inw-Wakiil.

103.  Laa  tudrikuHul-‘absaa-ru,  wa  Huwa  yudri-kul-‘absaar.  Wa  Huwal- Latiiful- Khabiir.

Commentary

After describing the Characteristics of Almighty and Glorious Allah, it makes everyone to understand that they should know God Almighty. It is obvious that a specific form of any thing comes to mind, when particular signs of that thing are told properly, and that is so clear that it can be hinted towards that figure.

Those works, which have been described in the first Section, are of such specialty that none can perform them save Allah Almighty. Therefore, the Conception of Allah comes to mind obviously, if we think deeply upon those creatures (like the creation of mankind and animals, heavens, earth, light, darkness, vegetation and minerals etc.). This verse has begun with the word ZaalikumUllaahu  Rabbu-kum (Such is Allah, your Lord) by pointing out towards that conception. Although, this conception is in our heart but the Conception of Whom is this, is the most Exalted and Highest, and according to His Greatness and Magnificence, is far away.

It is commanded that “such is Allah, your Lord” Who has entire those Qualities, which has been explained earlier. There is none to be worshipped except Him, so the Worshipped is Allah only. He is the Creator of all things, so you should bow before Him only for worship. Only He takes care of all things for everyone. You can imagine about Him by meditating in His attributes and creations, but your existing eyes are unable to see Him. He is well Aware of your eyes’ power, form and built, because His Praise is Khabiir (the Aware). Whereas your present eyes cannot see even the air etc. then how can those see Allah, Who is completely Latiif (the Subtile) too in real meaning?

At another place in the Holy Qur’an (in Surah ‘IKHLAAS -112), Allah Almighty commands:

Say: He is Allah, the One.  Allah, the eternally Besought of all! He begetheth not nor was begotten. And there is non-comparable unto Him.

God has no children - Quran Chapter 6 – 101 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-857) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 6 – 101 (Pt-7, Stg-2) (L-857) - درس قرآن

God has no children

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

101.  The Originator of the heavens and the earth! How can He have a child, when there is for Him no consort? And He created all things and is Aware of all things.
101.  Badii-‘us-samaawaati  wal-‘arz.  ‘Annaa  yakuunu  lahuu  waladunw-wa  lam  takul-lahuu  saa-hibah.  Wa  khalaqa  kulla  shay’.  Wa  Huwa  bi-kulli  shay-‘in  ‘Aliim.

Commentary

Badii-‘un – (That, Who originates), like Samiii’, ‘Aliim, Khabiir and Basiir, it is also an adjective, and derived from the word bada’. Bada’ means a new thing, which does not have any sample from the very first. The word Bid-‘ah has been derived from it too, which means “that new and curios thing, example of which does not exist in the religion”. So Badiii’ means – Such Originator, Who creates any new thing without any specimen. Making such a thing is called ‘Abdaaa’. From the same, the subject is Mabda’, which means “The Inventor of any new thing. That Person, Who has this characteristic permanently, is called Badiii’.

Saa-hibatun – (any female companion), it is the feminine subject and derived from the word Sahab. The source sahab means “to accompany, to live with”. Suh-bat is gotten source from it. Hear Saa-hibatun aims zawj, which means “a wife”.

The Epithets of God Almighty were described in the previous entire Section, tokens of which are obvious in the world. Everyone can know well Allah Almighty, if consider thoroughly these portents. In the first three verses of this Section, some more Beauties have been described, from which, estimating the Divine Power of Allah Almighty becomes easy.

It has been commanded in this verse that Allah Almighty is the Originator of the heavens and the earth without seeing any sample, the Creator of every creature and the Knower of everything. Then talk of those people has been rejected, who say unknowingly that God Almighty has any child.

Allah Almighty commands: How much strange things are - the sky, which you see over your head and the earth beneath your feet? Allah Almighty has originated them without observing any sample. Like this, He has created every smallest and biggest thing in the universe and He is the Knower of everything eternally and in accord with that Knowledge, He created all of them.

When He is Able to create everything by saying only one word “Kun” (Be), then, we should say that certainly, everything is His creature. The son, the daughter, who are children of any male plus female in this world, is produced with much strife. A wife is required for it. The children cannot be born without any wife. The wife is female gender of the husband and she is equal to him in every respect.

It is the only difference among husband and wife that he is male and she is female. Whereas, there is nothing equal to Allah Almighty, and nothing has any smallest similarity with Him. Then how can be His wife? Allah Almighty creates everything with His command, therefore, everything, which exists in this world, has been created by Him, and none is equal to Him.

Commentary

Allah Almighty has described such portents of His Cognizance in these verses which belong to the earth, fruit and growing the grains. Allah Almighty sends down the rain, which cannot be sent by any other, and due to which the vegetables, the green trees and plants are produced.

It is commanded: You looked upon the condition of plants and trees of grains and fruit thereof, when they bear fruit and grain, and upon their ripening. Then you gather by breaking them and eat. As human being is helpless in producing the grains and fruit, like this he cannot interfere in the process of their ripening. It is also in the Divine Power of Allah Almighty only.

It is great, if you think, because if the fruit and grain are un-ripened, those are useless for the human being. Look at these people! They ascribe themselves the Angels, the jinn etc. as partners unto Allah Almighty, leaving such Greatest Merciful and Protector, whereas these entire are His creature, and He created them with His own Omnipotence, without any kind of help from any other.

Some people say: The Angels, the Mankind or the Jinn etc. are sons and daughters of Allah Almighty. It all is their ignorance and they impute falsely. Glorified be Allah and High Exalted above all that they ascribe unto Him. They should try to understand Him correctly by observing these portents.

Commentary

Some more portents have been described in this verse. The human being can know Allah Almighty by thinking deeply into them. Humankind has been accustomed to eat fruit, vegetables and grains etc. grown from the earth but thinks never: How these things were grown and Who created them?

It has been mentioned in this verse that there is no human intervention in the processing period with effect from sowing the seed until ripening the harvest and bearing the fruit. So, the mankind should think: Who does it entire? Allah Almighty sends down the rain, due to which the seed and the sapling takes root in the earth and collects into itself necessary things from its surroundings. Then lush green fields begin to bloom. The plants and trees of the grapes, the olive and the pomegranate become productive and fruitful. Bunches grow in the date trees and then we see the dates everywhere up and down. Sometimes these uncountable fruit have same color, shape and taste but sometimes are different from one another. This all is done by Allah only. You cannot interfere in it.
