Other false forms of the Religion

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

138.  And they say: Such cattle and crops are forbidden; no one is to eat of them save whom we will-in their make-believe-cattle whose backs are forbidden, and cattle over which they mention not the name of Allah; (all that is) a lie against Him. He will repay them for that which they invent.
138.  Wa  qaaluu  haa-zihiii  ‘an-‘aamunw-wa  harsun  hijr.  Laa  yat-‘amuhaaa  ‘illaa  man-nashaaa-‘u  biza’-mihim  wa  ‘an-‘aamun  hurrimat-  zuhuuruhaa  wa  ‘an-‘aamul-laa  yaz-kuruunas—mAllaahi  ‘alay-haf-tiraa-‘an  ‘alayH.  Sa-yajziihim  bimaa  kaanuu  yaf-taruun.

Commentary

Hijrun – (forbidden), it is a noun, which has been derived from hajarHajar means “to prohibit, forbidding, to prevent”. The aim from hijr is the thing, use of which is forbidden. Its actual meaning is “hindrance, stoppage”.

Some more absurd works of the idolaters have been described in this verse, to which they had made part of their religion due to misleading by Satan. Some things, for instance; they used to dedicate any cattle or crop in the name of idols and commonly those were not permitted to be eaten. Some things were forbidden from eating either by the women, or only married women might eat, but any virgin or widow was not permitted to eat, OR either only male people were allowed eating, or only adult (young) men were permitted to eat but the children and old men were not allowed Or opposite to it or the clergymen of the idols etc.

These were only their imaginary matters that they used to do, what they thought. Like this, they used to leave some cattle in the name of their idols that no one should ride upon them. Mentioning the name of Allah at the time of milking or slaughtering some cattle was forbidden, due to the fear that lest Allah’s portion might not be included in it along with the idols’ portion.

After all, the astonishing thing was that they used to tell that these instructions were from God - as He had commanded them to do so, and His willingness could be obtained by doing so. These matters have been explained in this verse and commanded that “He (Allah Almighty) will repay them for that which they invent”.

It is commanded that these people say: These cattle, these crops are of the name of idols. Only they can eat these things, to whom we permit. Every person cannot eat them. These entire are their self-invented. They set some cattle free upon the name of idols that nobody should sit on their backs and nor load any kind of weight upon them. And they do not mention the name of Allah upon some cattle and say: Allah has ordered all this to do so, which is entirely a lie. They find out something, which does not belong to Allah Almighty. He will punish them due to their telling a lie.

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

137.  And thus have their (so-called) partners (of Allah) made the killing of their children to seem fair unto many of the idolaters, that they may ruin them and make their faith obscure for them. And had Allah willed (it otherwise), they had not done so. So leave them alone with their devices.
137.  Wa  kazaalika  zay-yana  likasiirim-minal-mush-rikiina  qatla  ‘awlaadihim  shura-kaaa- ‘uhum  li-yurduuhum  wa  li-yalbi-suu  ‘alay-him  diinahum.  Wa  law  shaaa- ‘Allaahu  maa  fa-‘aluuhu  fazarhum  wa  maa  yaf-taruun.

Commentary

Shura-kaaa- ‘uhum – (their partners), this word is plural of shariik, which has been derived from shirkShirk means “partnership, belief in a plurality of Allah (God), polytheism”. Shariik means “a partner, a co-sharer, an associate”. Shura-kaaa- ‘uhum – {their (so-called) partners (of Allah)}, that is to say; the partners of their own or of Allah Almighty (their gods, idols), it aims that those who seduce them; are the devils, who mislead them to commit evil works.

Yurduuhum – (they may ruin them). Actually this word is yurduuna. Its origin is‘ardaa’, which has been made from radii. Radii means, “Destruction, ruin”. ‘Ardaa’ means “to kill, to ruin”.

Yalbi-suu – (they may make obscure). It has been derived from the word “labasa, which means “mixing up the things in such a way that those may not be recognized separately, intermixing, to confuse”.

It is commanded that many people of the idolaters commit one more strange folly. Their devils have given them advice that slaughtering the children in the name of idols is an excellent piece of work. Therefore, every pretext was invented into them to kill their children then. It is a prescribed way in the religion that you should slaughter an animal in the name of Allah Almighty out of those, which are fit for food (lawful). They began to kill their children. In the religion, there was a sacrifice of the animal. Satan misguided them that the sacrifice of children is better than that. The religion teaches to sacrifice in the name of Allah Almighty. Satan Said: you should sacrifice in the name of idols.

It is shortness of their sense and understanding that they obey always Satan. Allah Almighty has let them go astray also in the world. He has to test the human beings and desire to see: who takes fine work from own wit, otherwise; had He willed, He had not permitted any one to commit any such evil deed. But no! The world is the place of the test. It is not the object to compel any individual to go straight way. So let them and their wrong deeds go.

It is learned that distorting the original form of the religion is a devilish work. Such works should not be done which seem apparently of religious, but internally, dig the root of the religion.

Quran Chapter 6 – 136 (Pt-8, Stg-2) (L-893) -

Wicked deeds of Infidels

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

136.  And they assign unto Allah, of the crops and cattle which He created, a portion, and they say: “This is Allah’s – “in their make-believe-” and this is for our associates”. Thus that which (they assign) unto their associates – gods reacheth not Allah and that which (they assign) unto Allah goeth to their (so-called) partners. Evil is their ordinance.
136.  Wa  ja-‘aluu  Lillaahi  mim-maa  zara-‘a  minal-harsi  wal-‘an-‘aami  nasii-ban-  fa-qaaluu  haazaa  Lillaahi  biza’-mihim  wa  haazaa  li-shura-kaaa-‘inaa.  Famaa  kaanaa  li-shura-kaaa—‘ihim  falaa  yasilu  ‘ilAllaah.  Wa  maa  kaana  Lillaahi  fa-huwa  yasilu  ‘ilaa  shura-kaaa-‘ihim.  Saaa-‘a  maa  yah-kumuun.

Commentary

Yasilu – this word has been derived from wasuul. Wasuul is a famous word which means “arriving at, reaching”.

Shura-kaaa-‘a – (the partners, co-sharers, associates), this word is plural of Shariik, which is (grammatically) an adjective and made from shirk. Shirk means – partnership, association, share. Shariik is that who or which is partner of any person in any matter.

It was described in the previous verses that the Path, which Allah Almighty has established for the human being, has been manifested very clearly by sending His Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon Them). But the mankind has turned away from that Path. Therefore, such people do not obey the Sayings of His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him), whereas, it is incumbent to go on that fixed Path, so Allah Almighty commanded to His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him): Say to them! If you do not obey Me, later on, you will repent. Behold! Continue whatever you are doing. I shall work whatever I wish to do. You will come to know very soon, whether your end is better or of Mine.

It is commanded that Allah Almighty prepared lush green crops and fields for them with His Mercy and created the cattle. Their false gods and idols etc. have no role in the creation of these things. Observe their sense; even then they regard their self-made gods more than Allah Almighty. And they assign a portion from these things in their make-believe for Allah and a portion for their associates. Then they think that Allah Almighty is the eternally Besought of all. He is not needy of any portion. So they include some more shares with their gods’ portion, taking from the portion of Allah Almighty, but do not put in His portion taking some from the portion of their partners (gods). Sometimes, they commit as such that if, any superior thing has been included in the portion of Allah Almighty and inferior in the portion of gods, they change it as the superior thing is included in the portion of gods and the inferior thing in the portion of Allah Almighty.

Such conduct is worse because it is considered from their behavior that the Reverence of Allah Almighty does not exist in their hearts. Secondly, they accept that Allah Almighty is not indigent of anything, while the idols and gods are needy, even then they determine the idols equivalent to Allah Almighty, they believe in them also more than Him. This deed of theirs is entirely folly. However, that thought, which exists in it, that is very bad and strict hurtful for them. These people are disrespectful to Allah Almighty and for it they will be punished very severely.

Quran Chapter 6 – 135 (Pt-8, Stg-2) (L-892) -

Opposing openly

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

135.  Say (O Muhammad): O my people! Work according to your power. Lo! I too am working. Thus ye will come to know for which of us will be the happy sequel. Lo! the wrong-doers will not be successful.
135.  Qul  yaa-qawmi’-maluu  ‘alaa  makaa-natikum  ‘innii  ‘aamil.  Fa-sawfa  ta’-lamuuna,  man-  takuunu  lahuu  ‘Aaqiba-tud-daar.  ‘Innahuu  laa  yuflihuz-zaalimuun.

Commentary

Makaa-natih – (the place), this word is adverb of place and has been derived from the word kawnKawn means “to be, to exist, to have”. The word Makaan, which has been derived from kawn, it means “the place of existence”.

‘Aaqibatud-daar – (the happy sequel, consequence of this dwelling place), the word ‘Aaqibah has been derived from ‘aqab, which means “behind, after one’s absence” and daar means “abode, home, dwelling”. The aim from daar is “this home” that is to say; this world. Grammatically ‘Aaqibatud-daar is “the noun possessed”, and “the noun or pronoun in the possessive case” i.e. the thing, which will come after the end of this worldly home.

It was described earlier that Allah Almighty has fixed an appropriate complete Way for the humankind with His Mercy, moving on which, an individual can reach his destination easily. In this verse, Allah Almighty has commanded to His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) that He should describe to His nation: Now you are free to work according to your will. You will come to know shortly for whom the end will be good (for us or yours), but you should bear this rule in mind always that the tyrants can never be successful.

The Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) is being commanded by Allah Almighty: Say to them! O my people (nation) {the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) is saying to His nation, particularly to the infidels)}! I have conveyed you that what Allah Almighty revealed on Me. If you want to persist on your own path, it is your will but it is a wrong path. I cannot go astray. I shall do only that work, for which, Allah Almighty has guided Me. Due to your refractoriness, it can be said that the way of Mine and yours has not remain the same one. Your path is separate than of Mine. I shall work as I am guided by Allah Almighty in His last Scripture inspired upon Me, whereas you will follow Satan as he misguided you.

Thus everyone will come to know the Truth at the end that who did good work, got deliverance and went to the Paradise, and who committed evils, tyrannized himself and others and was punished properly.

Those people, who have been addressed in this verse, were infidels and idolaters of Makkah, and there were no such signs that the rich and powerful people can ever be defeated. But after a few days i.e. in the Battle of Badr, entire people saw its consequence that what happened? And it was the result of their wicked deeds. But still that Doom has been set aside which they will suffer after the expiry of this world, in the Day of Resurrection. Even the Saying of this verse has been proved true; certainly, it will be proved true there (in the Hereafter) too.

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

133.  And thy Lord is the Absolute, the Lord of Mercy. If He will, He can remove you and can cause what He will to follow after you, even as He raised you from the seed of other folk.

134.  Lo! That which ye are promised will surely come to pass, and ye cannot escape.
133.  Wa  Rabbukal-Ganiyyu  Zur-Rahmah.  ‘Iny-yasha’  yuz-hibkum  wa  yas-takh-lif  mim-  ba’-dikum-  maa  ya-shaaa-‘u  kamaaa  ‘ansha-‘akum  -min-zurriy-yati  qawmin-  ‘aakhariin.

134.  ‘Inna  maa  tuu- ‘aduuna  la-‘aatinw-wa  maaa  ‘antum-  bi-mu’-jiziin.

Commentary

Ganiyyun – (That, Who does not care, the Rich, the careless), this word is an adjective and has been derived from ganaaa. Ganaaa means carelessness. Ganiyyun is that individual who is not indigent of anyone, who has everything of his own.

Yas-takh-lif – (appointing any successor to replace any person or nation), the origin of this word is ‘istakhlaaf, which has been made from khalaf. Khalaf means “after one’s absence”. ‘Istakhlaaf means “after someone, to appoint a successor as his replacement”. That successor is called his Caliph. Such person is also a caliph, whom, anyone gives himself, any responsibility to do.

‘ansha-‘a – (brought into being, raised), it is from ‘inshaaa’, which has been derived from nashaaa’Nashaaa’ means “to be produced”. It also means to write, while the writer writes anything himself by thinking, because he produces a new thing too. Here; ‘ansha-‘a means “(Allah Almighty) produced (you)”.

It has been described here: You should not take it as, “Allah Almighty is helpless in this matter that you should obey His command. His system will stop if you will not obey His command as it happens in this world that if, the people do not obey the command of their king and violate his orders, then the king abides nowhere”.

Allah Almighty is neither needy of your worship and obedience, nor has any concern. The Revelations, which He has sent down unto you, it is His Mercy, and it will entirely be better for you if you will act upon His Inspirations. The Plant of His Kingdom does not depend on you that if you will not serve It, any difference will come in His Sovereignty.

If the System of the universe depended on others, Allah Almighty would have removed the disobedient and had appointed some other obedient servants as their replacement. It is not difficult for Him to change and remove the present generation and bring some other people to replace them. Look at yourselves! Some other people did exist here earlier, where you are at present. They have gone and nowadays, you are from their descendants, who live here. Like this, what is difficult for Him to bring others as your replacement, by removing you? You should not consider that you will lurk anywhere being saved from Him, if He desires to remove you. Bear in mind! That which you are promised will surely happen, and you cannot be saved. Wait for your turn also as your ancestors have gone. You should not take it a warning only.

Allah destroys none arbitrarily

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

131.  This is because thy Lord destroeth not the townships arbitrarily while their people are unconscious (of the wrong they do).

132.  And for all there are ranks in accordance with their doings. And thy Lord is not Unaware of what they do.
131.  Zaalika  ‘allam  yakur-Rabbuka  muhlikal-quraa  bi-zulminw-wa  ‘ahlu-haa  gaafi-luun.

132.  Wa  li-kullin-  darajaa-tum-mimmaa  ‘amiluu.  Wa  maa  Rabbuka  bi-gaa-filin  ‘ammaa  ya’-maluun.

Commentary

Muhlika – (the Remover, that, who destroys), this word is “the subject” from ‘ahlaak, derived from halaak. Halaak means destruction, ruin. ‘Ahlaak means “to destroy, to annihilate, to ruin”.

Zulm – (oppression, tyranny), this word comes again and again in the Holy Qur’an and its meaning has already been explained. According to Arabic language, it is used for such a work, which is not suitable and which has any harm either for oneself or for any other. The Way, which Allah Almighty has established for the human being in the world, making even a little change in it, is zulm.

There are many degrees of the zulm. The words - Zaalim and Mazluum have been made from it too, which aims the tyrant and the oppressed respectively. Moreover, an individual can tyrannize himself also. In this form that individual is the tyrant and the oppressed of himself.

It is commanded that Allah Almighty has already established a series to warn the humankind about the forthcoming troubles during future by sending His Messengers (peace be upon Them), because He does not destroy the townships arbitrarily as a punishment while their people are unconscious of the wrong, they do.

At first, He (Allah Almighty) makes it clear that there is only One Straight Path for the humankind. Falling back a little from that Way is tyranny and its consequence is destruction and ruin, either that would be in the world or in the Hereafter, or in the both. To manifest it, the Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon Them) were sent by Allah Almighty in the world from time to time. The Messenger (peace be upon Him) used to explain this Way properly by His tongue and show the people by acting upon it himself. When, all it is done then the human being is provided chance that he should act according to it also. After that, the actions and deeds of the mankind are judged and their dignities are determined in accordance with such deeds.

The humankind should not consider that there is no one to ask him, whether he does good works or commits evil deeds. Allah Almighty is Aware very well of his entire deeds. Nothing is hidden from Him. The human being will be awarded or rewarded even for his very little deeds too. He should do thoughtfully, whatever he is going to do and should never get out of the guidance of Holy Qur’an.

Need of thinking - Quran Chapter 6 – 130 (Pt-8, Stg-2) (L-889) -

Quran Chapter 6 – 130 (Pt-8, Stg-2) (L-889) -

Need of thinking

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

Every verse of the Holy Qur’an contains a Message for us. Neither the right of that verse is paid until we understand its Message thoroughly, and nor there is any hope of our worldly, as well as the next-worldly life’s correction (the life of the Hereafter). First of all, we should bear this matter deeply in mind that we have been given the life of this world only to dress our life of the Hereafter.

It is never the purpose of this life that everyone would have to begin collecting the goods of this world. Every time the wish that all good things should be in one’s possession, and to say others, “Beware! Do not look at me, otherwise; I have collected so much power and strength that I can drive your eyes out”.

Holy Qur’an commands: Behold! You should not forget the Day of Resurrection by falling in the snares of the world. Honor and dignity, comfort and ease, wealth and authority of this world – all such things are accidental. After this, another life will begin and in that life, only those people will acquire comfort and peace, who do not desire wealth, respect and dignity of this world, and do not spread persecution, dispute, disturbance and mischief due to their stubbornness and intransigence.

Noble Qur’an is leading openly: You should manage your life in such a way in this world that career of everyone together is arranged, every human being may get food, clothes, accommodation for living, household goods and all necessary things easily. None should hoard anything, which is necessity of someone else. That person, whosoever is either doing so, or encouraging such people, who do so, he learnt nothing from Holy Qur’an.

If those people, who believe in it, have been gathering worldly wealth and trying to get dignity of this world, then they should understand that they do not know the way of learning the teachings of Holy Qur’an. And like others, this world has entrapped them also in the deception. They should meditate in this verse and understand that, what they should do themselves and which method of living should be taught to other people.

It has been mentioned clearly in this verse that the entire secrets will be opened on the Day of Resurrection. Whole of the human beings and the jinn (demons) will confess without hesitation that they had been entangled in useless matters by giving up the advantageous things. At that time, they will be reproached and due to this reproof, which doom will suffer their hearts, that will be very severe torment for their life.

There is only one way to save oneself from that torment, which is:

1.    Believe in Allah Almighty and His last Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him).

2.    Make the verses of Holy Qur’an “A complete Code of Deeds” for your life.

3.    Admit the Truth regarding the life in the Hereafter and be prepared in this world to escape from the difficulties of that Day.

4.    Nothing is kept in the apparent dignity, useless noise, pump and show for a little time (of this life). Do not be deceived from it

5.    Keep examined yourself whether have you not involved in any calamity of the infidelity?

These entire matters are required to be performed today i.e. in the life of this world, otherwise; when your eyes will be opened after death in the Hereafter, there will be nothing other than distress and pain in your luck.
