Chapter ‘Al-‘A’raaf (The Heights) – Surah –
7)
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟بِٱللَّهِ وَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَٱلْعَٰقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ 128

128. Moses said unto
his people: Seek help in Allah and endure. Lo! the earth is Allah’s. He
giveth it for an inheritance to whom He will. And lo! the sequel is for those
who keep their duty (unto Him).

128. Qaala Muusaa
li-qawmihista-‘ii-nuu Billaahi wasbiruu.
‘Innal-‘arza LIllaahi, Yuurisu-haa many-yashaaa-‘u
min ‘ibaadiH. Wal- ‘aaqibatu lil-
Muttaqiin.

Commentary
When
courtiers of Pharaoh said to him, he gave his judgment about how to fight
against Moses (peace be upon Him). He said that while the people of Israel will
not be kept able to rise, then what will do alone Moses (peace be upon Him)? He
had done so earlier. It was his order that the sons of the Children of Israel
were used to slay, whereas their women were kept living. With the Omnipotence
of Allah Almighty, Moses (peace be upon Him) was born in the same condition and
was brought up in the house of Pharaoh. Mention of the circumstances of His (peace
be upon Him) birth will come in Surahs (Chapters) Taa-Haa and Qasas. It
has been described in this verse: What kind of guidance did give Moses (peace
be upon Him) to His nation for coming in front of Pharaoh?
It
is commanded that Prophet Moses (peace be upon Him) said to His nation: Fall
prostrate before Allah Almighty and ask for help in this difficult situation
and endure with steadfastness, which falls to yours lot. Allah Almighty has
given power to Pharaoh and his people at this time. His government is
established on this piece of land. Actual Owner of the earth is Allah Almighty.
None can take possession anywhere without His Permission. He gives power to
whom He desires for some time due to His own philosophy and expedience. If now,
Pharaoh tyrannizes and does not keep the servants of Allah Almighty in comfort
and ease without thinking about their genealogy and breed, and oppressed people
are helpless. They can do nothing. There is only one way for them that they
should know their Lord, Creator and God Almighty – Allah, the Most High, and be
saved from His disobedience and they should keep their duty unto Him. They
should fear from His wrath, seek forgiveness and repent. They should do good
works. Certainly at last, such people will overcome upon their enemies. And
Allah Almighty will bestow them with power and influence after snatching from
the tyrants and cruel people. Allah Almighty has established the methods to
test His servants. There has been similar and will keep happening so, until the
Will of God Almighty.
The Prophets
and Messengers of Allah Almighty (peace be upon Them) used to tell the same way
to the human kind during every times that; if you wish to get deliverance from
the tyrants, you should grip up your loins to obey the Commands of Allah
Almighty and beg for help from Him only. Be steadfast, you should tolerate with
courteous, kind and pleasant; while you are going Straight Forward whether, how
much disasters, calamities and troubles come before you. Do never accept defeat
from the tyrants, fight against them with full resistance as it may be
possible. At last, it will be the result that entire troubles will be finished
and the tyrants will be ruined.
